Cebu (Daanbantayan) to Malapascua Island
Another Paradise island on the northern tip of Cebu is the world renown Malapascua Island. From Cebu proper, you may take a 4-hour travel by bus or 3 1/2-hour via airconditioned vans so you can reach the Municipality of DaanbantayanFrom the North Bus terminal of Mandaue City (Cebu) you may board on a non-aircon bus with P160 fare, an airconditioned bus P180, and airconditioned vans at P200.
In Maya port, boats left for Malapascua starting 6:30 AM up to 5:30 PM (public boat) for 20 minutes, which cost P100/person. An additional P20 is collected when you transfer to a little flat boat to the outrigger during low tide. Special trips can be arranged for a higher fee or “sabot-sabot”.
Cebu to Camotes Ferry Schedule
There are 3 jump-off points in going to Camotes from Cebu
- Cebu to Camotes via OceanJet – sailing 3 times daily at 6AM, 10AM, and 3PM

- Danao to Camotes via Jomalia Shipping sailing from 5:30AM to 5:30PM daily, alternating with Roro Vessel and Express fastcraft.

- Mactan (Lapulapu) to Camotes – Jomalia Shipping departs Mactan at 9AM and 3PM daily.

Lapulapu (Mactan) to Olango Island
There are two loading port in Lapulapu City bound for Olango Island. There is no definite time schedule but the boats left when it is full. Sailing time takes 20 minutes, and its best to travel in the morning so you can appreciate the scenic scape on the way to the island.
- Loading port beside Movenpick Hotel at Punta Engano, Lapulapu City
- Angasil Port near Portofino at Maribago, Lapulapu City
Fare rate for the boats that cruises the island cost P12 to P15 per person respectively, plus a terminal fee.
