How to go to Camiguin Island???
Camiguin has one airport located in Mambajao which can accommodate smaller aircraft. Cebu Pacific Air is covering only the Cebu to Camiguin flights. There are regular flights for Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific from Manila to Cagayan de Oro (Camiguin’s jump of point)or Butuan. Scheduled flights also for Cagayan from Iloilo, Bacolod, Zamboanga and Davao. International flights are also available direct to Cagayan de Oro.
From Laguindingan airport in Cagayan, there is available shuttle van to take you to Agora Terminal then you’ll ride a Bus or Van (approximately 2hours time) to Balingoan Port.

If you are coming from Butuan airport, you may take a cab or motorcycle to the Bus Terminal and ride a Cagayan- bound bus for more than two hours. You’ll pass by and stop at Balingoan port where the ferries are waiting for the sailing schedule.

There are also alternate means in going to Camiguin by sailing directly from Macabalan Port in Cagayan aboard Fastcraft who have daily schedules.

The marine vessel of Super Shuttle Ferry sails every Friday at 08:00 PM from Cebu to Camiguin. Same Marine transport departs from Camiguin port to Cebu every Sunday at 08:00 PM.

Camiguin Island is famous for the Lanzones Festival celebrated every 3rd week of October where Tourist flock to the Island and witness the 3- day event. Local and Foreign Tourist take their time to enjoy the White Island Sandbar with Mt. Hibok-Hibok on the backdraft. Waterfalls and Hot Spring abound the Island like Katibawasan Falls, Tuason Falls or Binangonan Falls. Ardent Hot Spring is also a popular area to visit.
