Lanzones Festival is celebrated as a 4-day event in Camiguin which is the people’s means of a thanksgiving and a celebration of their harvest of the island’s most important livelihood.
Lanzones festival is a month long celebration which showcases the beauty of the island. Major activities starts on October 23 until October 29 during the fiesta. Highlights of the event includes parade and street dancing wherein participants are clad with lanzones fruits designed in their costumes. A trade Fair and Art exhibit also showcases the talent of the people of Camiguin with some cultural heritage shows promoted by Camiguin Department of Tourism.

There are regular flights by commercial airline from Manila and Cebu to Camiguin. Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines have regular daily schedule.
By sea, some shipping companies sails within the neighboring towns and municipalities like trips from Balingoan, Misamis Oriental to Benoni port, Camiguin. Another route is by Jagna, Bohol to Camiguin and Vice Versa with daily trips now.
